Road trip · Chance encounter · Playful
I Picked Up a Hitchhiker is Candy's great road story. On a deserted desert highway, a striking woman stands at the roadside with her thumb out. The car that stops is a rattling pickup driven by the most unremarkable man imaginable. What follows is a journey neither of them planned. Five AI-made episodes.
I Picked Up a Hitchhiker episodes
The opening 2 play at no cost on Candy, roughly sixty seconds apiece. Episodes 3–5 sit behind Premium.
The pickup
The setup is classic Americana: heat haze, a straight road to nowhere and a hitchhiker who seems out of place. He pulls over expecting to give a stranger a lift to the next town. She climbs in with plans of her own.
Opposites
The fun lies in the mismatch. She is glamorous and mysterious; he is painfully ordinary and keeps waiting for the catch. The confined cab, gas stations and motel signs supply the settings, and each stop pushes them closer.
Why it works
A chance encounter in the middle of nowhere removes every complication: no partners, no family, nobody watching. That freedom gives the series a lighter, adventurous feel.
Mood
Playful and sun-baked, a highlight of our Getaways & Holidays collection.

My Girlfriend’s Mom Needs A Ride is another story told in a car, I Drove My Girlfriend’s Stepsister To College is a road trip with a passenger who has plans, and Horny at the Arcade pairs an average guy with a bold woman. All are AI-made.
