What the free tier gives you

Before talking about money, it is worth knowing what you get without any. Every public title on Candy opens with a pair of complimentary episodes, no account required. With 167 public titles in our coverage, that comes to more than 330 free episodes. The free openers we sampled lasted roughly a minute each.

That is a generous sampler. Many people never need more than a handful of titles, and the openers are built to show you quickly whether a story clicks.

What Premium unlocks

Premium removes the paywall from every episode after the openers, across the entire public catalog. You do not buy series one at a time; one plan covers all of them. On the checkout we reviewed, the membership listed these perks:

• every locked chapter of every series, described at checkout as exclusive stories;
• higher-quality streaming;
• watching at any time and on any device with a browser;
• no ads.

The Spicy titles inside Candy AI, such as Tori’s Dirty Vows, are visible to signed-in members, which is why they have no public preview.

We copied these prices from the checkout page in October 2026; regional taxes may be added. When we checked again in November, the checkout required a signed-in session, so we could not reconfirm the figures; if they change, this page will change with them.

Which plan makes sense

It comes down to appetite.

• One story or two. Thirty days is the least expensive route to the end of a couple of five-episode titles. Remember to switch off renewal if you do not want a second month.
• A season of viewing. Three months suits anyone who wants to work through a genre or two and follow the weekly releases for a while.
• Everything. Twelve months gives the lowest monthly figure by a distance, and it is the plan to pick for marathons such as Yes Ma’am plus a year of new arrivals.

The value, in numbers

Our latest crawl counted 904 public episodes across 167 titles. Subtract the free openers and roughly 570 episodes sit behind the paywall. On the twelve-month plan that is well under ten cents per locked episode for the year, before counting the new episodes Candy adds every week. Even on the single-month plan, finishing just a handful of series costs less than a cinema ticket.

How renewal works

Every plan renews by itself at the end of its term unless you turn renewal off. Switching it off does not cut your access short; viewing carries on through the term already paid. Per Candy AI’s terms, the switch lives in your account: open Settings, then Unsubscribe.

If you change plans, the change takes effect from the next billing cycle rather than immediately.

Refunds

Candy AI’s terms are strict about refunds, so read them before you pay:

• a refund request has a one-day window after the payment;
• it fails once the account has spent over 20 tokens;
• refunds go back to cards only;
• technical problems on your side do not qualify.

A chargeback through your bank cancels the subscription immediately, so it is better to contact support first. Candy AI offers support around the clock through its help center.

Tokens and the wider Candy AI subscription

Candy Shorts sits under the Candy AI umbrella, alongside its AI companion chat. Candy AI’s terms describe the paid chat plan as unlimited messaging with a token budget each month, usually 100 tokens, which pays for generated pictures and voice notes. After you pay

After paying, you are asked to verify the account in order to stay subscribed, so watch for that email. Payment methods listed by Candy AI include Visa, Mastercard and several cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ether, USDC and Litecoin, with bank payments in some countries. Is Premium worth it?

Yes, once two or three series leave you desperate for the ending. The free openers reveal which ones those are, so sample first and subscribe second. If none of the openers hooks you, keep your money; the free tier alone is worth exploring.

Premium and new releases

Candy adds episodes every week and brought in 28 new series between our October and November checks. A subscription covers all of that automatically, with nothing extra to buy, which is a large part of why longer plans make sense for regular viewers.

Before you subscribe

Spend ten minutes with our Where to Start guide or this week’s Top 10, play the openers of four or five titles, and only then choose a plan. You will subscribe knowing exactly which stories you want to finish.

A worked example

Say you sampled the openers of six titles and three hooked you: a five-episode stepmom story, a 15-episode feud and Yes Ma’am. That is 55 episodes, of which six were free, leaving 49 behind the paywall. One month at $13.99 covers all of them if you watch steadily. If you also want the weekly releases and the rest of the catalog over time, the twelve-month plan costs about the same as three and a half single months.

When to skip Premium

If you only ever watch openers and rarely wonder how a story ends, the free tier is enough. The same goes for viewers who want one specific series that turns out to be a Spicy title; check that it is visible to members before paying.

Common questions before paying

People often ask whether Premium unlocks one series or all of them: all of them. They ask whether they need a card: no, crypto is accepted too, although only card payments can come back as refunds. And they ask whether cancelling loses what they paid for: no, access continues until the term ends.

What Premium does not change

Premium unlocks episodes; it does not change how the series are made. Every title remains fully AI-generated, with a synthetic cast written as grown adults and, on the star titles, AI doubles that the performers approved. Nor does it add offline saving: viewing happens on Candy’s player in your browser.
